This stunning wedding took place at Mt. Hood Bed & Breakfast. Sokhorn & Jay planned their wedding around Oregon's beautiful snow-capped mountain. The sky was clear, and the sun bright, so vibrant orange and blue parasols were given out to wedding guests to provide shade during the ceremony. Guests had a perfect view of the mountain behind Sokhorn & Jay as they exchanged sweet, personalized vows to each other. Love was in the air, and wild flowers in bloom all around. It was a beautiful day from start to finish.
Luke & Ai had a lovely, modern wedding, surrounded by family and friends at the Urban Studio in downtown Portland, Oregon. Luke & Ai love city life, and wanted to capture Portland's charm by photographing some portraits under the St. John's Bridge in Cathedral Park. The iconic turquoise bridge was the perfect blend of Portland’s beautiful urban architecture in the midst of lush, scenic landscape. Ai had a gorgeous bouquet and hairpiece made by Annie at Floral Sunshine, which matched the natural greenery around them during portraits. As the sun set, the lights dimmed in the Urban Studio and twinkle-lights all around the room glowed romantically for dinnertime ambiance. And what Portland night is complete without some doughnuts? In lieu of a cake, guests enjoyed an assortment of doughnuts from Portland’s famous VooDoo Doughnuts.
Shauna & Michael fell in love with Black Butte Ranch in Sisters, Oregon, and decided to plan their destination wedding there. They love simplicity and wanted their wedding to focus on being with friends and family who had travelled from all around the world to spend their special day with them. They planned their wedding around Michael's Scottish heritage, using wild flowers for their florals, and the plaid from Michael's family tartan as their wedding colors. And no Scottish wedding is complete without a bagpiper! The weather in October was brisk with periods of wind and rain -- perfectly matching the theme of their Celtic/Scottish wedding! But Shauna and Michael seemed too in love to even notice, the wind only enhanced the dreaminess of Shauna's gorgeous dress, and the clouds parted just in time for their ceremony. I don't think it could have ended up more perfect.
