Meet baby June. This little girl was just 12 days old when we photographed her and her parents in my home studio in NE Portland. Every session is different and we always go at baby's pace, doing only what he/she will allow us to do, and never forcing a baby into a position it doesn't feel comfortable in. Little June let us move her all over, swaddling her in lace, dressing her in tutus and headbands, and even posing her in several different baskets and positions. I think my favorite, though, was watching her snuggle all cuddled up with her dad. We placed little June on her daddy's chest and immediately you could tell she felt right at home. Her cheeks squished up, her bum stuck out, baby snores ensued, and we all couldn't help but smile at such a sweet bundle of cuteness.
